How to become a member
Membership is open to all who possess qualifications that are acceptable by the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN), under the provisions of Engineers Registration Decree No 55 of 1970 or such amendments thereof irrespective of race, colour or religion.

Membership is also open to all those with GCE A/L and above who wish to be trained as Piping Designers by the Institute.

Benefits of membership

Criteria
Subject to the provisions of section of the IPEN constitution, members admitted to the Institute shall:
Be enrolled as Pipers in the following categories

• Fellows
• Corporate
• Graduate / Professionals
• Member
• Associates
• Student

Corporate member shall have piping related area of practice
